Harbor Aviation has created an advanced amphibious aircraft design for the 21st century.

One of the primary problems with amphibious aircraft is the spray generated while moving on the water. This spray can damage engines, propellers, and movable wing surfaces. The design contains the spray between the hulls, protecting engines and movable surfaces.

The design is also more stable than any other previous amphibious aircraft configuration, by using the outboard hulls to keep the aircraft stable at low and high speed on the water. These outer hulls provide a tough outlying structure protecting the passenger cabin. In this manner, the design significantly increases the safety of the aircraft.

By having a hull design that is also efficient on the water, the volume requirements are increased. This offers significantly more interior room per passenger. Most commercial airlines offer about 31 inches of seat pitch and feature 17 inch wide seats. Harbor Aviation aircraft have no less than 40 inches of seat pitch and are 24 inches in width.
